Aufgaben:

You will work as a mechanical design engineer in our Hardware development department in Böblingen/Germany as part of a dedicated team to develop and enhance our V93000 semiconductor test system.
As the world's leading supplier of automatic test equipment, Advantest is dedicated to create leading edge systems for the semiconductor and communications industry - the technologies upon which our rapidly evolving information society is based.
To meet the permanently increasing test challenges of modern semiconductors we continuously enhance our existing platform with new Hardware modules. In your new job, you will design complex mechanical components and assemblies for our testers. Close cooperation with our electrical engineers as well as with procurement and production engineers is essential.
You will explore new state of the art manufacturing possibilities and strongly interact with our suppliers and customers.

Für den Standort Böblingen suchen wir Verstärkung im Bereich der Mechanik-Entwicklung für unser V93000 Halbleiter Testsystem.
Um den ständig zunehmenden Herausforderungen moderner Halbleiterbauteile gerecht zu werden, erweitern und verbessern wir kontinuierlich unsere IC-Test Platform.
In ihrem neuen Job entwickeln sie komplexe mechnanische und elektromechanische Komponenten und Baugruppen für unseren Tester. Eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Elektronikentwicklern und Produktionsingenieuren ist dabei essentiell.
Ein Schwerpunkt ist auch der Einsatz und die Weiterentwicklung modernster Fertigungstechnologien, um die wachsenden Anforderungen unserer Produkte zu erfüllen, zusammen mit unseren Fertigungspartnern.

Qualifikationen:

University degree in mechanical engineering or similar
Professional experience in using a 3D CAD tools. (Preferably this would be with PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling or Siemens NX)
Knowledge of modern manufacturing capabilities and some experience to create mechanical design studies and prototypes (incl. milling, turning, 3D-printing)
Knowledge of methods for process-optimization (FMEA, DFx, Simulation)
Good team and communication skills, cross-functional, cross cultural and across hierarchy levels
Basic knowledge and experience with Project management techniques
Good Team player with a practical attitude
Sie haben ein abgeschlossenes Studium (Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, o. ä.) oder sind Techniker/in im entsprechenden Umfeld
Idealerweise bringen Sie bereits mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Konstruktion bzw. Fertigung technisch anspruchsvoller Produkte
Sie beherrschen 3D-CAD umfassend sowie Methoden zur Prozessoptimierung (bspw. FMEA, DFx, Wertanalyse, Simulation),
Erfahrung mit den Sytemen PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling oder Siemens NX sind von Vorteil
Sie haben gute planerische und organisatorische Fähigkeiten und eine ganzheitliche Denk- und Arbeitsweise zeichnet Sie aus
Die Methoden des Projektmanagements kennen Sie möglichst aus eigener Erfahrung
Als ausgeprägter Teamplayer und Praktiker packen Sie auch selbst mit an
